E.J. Tackett extended his PBA World Championship lead to 217 pins on Monday afternoon as Dom Barrett moved into second and a hobbling Pete Weber hung onto third with one round of match play to go.
Tackett, who is averaging 230.7 and is 9-7 in match play, came into Monday’s second round of match play with a 135-pin lead over Weber and ended with a 217-pin lead over Barrett, who started the day tied for third and switched places with Weber, who is nine pins behind Barrett.
