Jakob Butturff made history on Sunday by winning the PBA West/Northwest 3rd Capital City Open Sponsored by DV8, Genesis and Mongoose for his ninth PBA Regional title of the year. The powerful 22-year-old left-hander with the unique delivery had been tied with Mike Scroggins for the record with eight titles in a year. Scroggins’ eight titles came in 1999.
