Bob Nowaczyk knew what he needed when he stepped up in the final frame of doubles at the Wisconsin State USBC Bowling Association Championships — aka the State Tournament — at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes on Saturday.
A teammate told him he needed to double to push himself and Scott Radtke into the lead. And he did it, striking out for a 1,501 that moved them past the 1,496 of Brad Weiss and Trent Sanders that was leading.
