Can Bayside Bowl and Portland, Maine, be a template for how to 'save' bowling and the PBA?

As I wrote in this story, I didn’t go to the PBA League TV tapings April 2-3 at Bayside Bowl in Portland, Maine, because it was a major tournament or because I expected to break any big news.
I went because I wanted to see in person the most raucous fans and experience the best atmosphere in bowling — one that in just a single weekend in 2015 became legendary.
And it exceeded my high expectations: I would say it is impossible to put into words what an incredible atmosphere...
