Anyone who follows global bowling knows that Korea has become an equal to the U.S., and arguably even supplanted the U.S. as the pre-eminent bowling power. Korea had won gold in team in the last World Championships for both men and women, and at the World Bowling Women’s Championships that ended Sunday in Abu Dhabi, the Koreans won gold in singles and trios and silver in doubles and team, finishing second to Team USA in those events.
