The Kurt Davids Memorial New Year’s Eve Day Handicap Singles Tournament is going to be a single squad again this year. The tournament drew 145, 155 and 145 bowlers from 2010-12 when New Year’s Eve fell on the weekend or a day adjacent to the weekend. But after entries dropped to “only” 98 bowlers in 2013, Badger moved it back to one squad and it drew 88 last year.
