Chris Gibbons fired a 793 series and Becky James slammed a 682 to top Madison area bowling on Tuesday as the 2015-16 season opened in earnest. Gibbons competed in the Dream Lanes All-Star Classic, while James bowled in the Ten Pin Alley Fifth Quarter League. Tony Thaden was second for the men with 790 in the Ten Pin Fifth Quarter, followed by Herb Kimpel with 764 in the Dream All-Star Classic.
