Taking advantage of the burn squad, Shannon O'Keefe closed with 276 and 256 to grab the lead after the first round of qualifying at the 2015 Bowlmor AMF U.S. Women's Open, PWBA reported.
The 11-time Team USA member and McKendree University head women's bowling coach totaled 1,842 for eight games at Brunswick Zone Carolier. Danielle McEwan was second at 1,804, Singapore's Daphne Tan third with 1,789, defending champion Liz Johnson fourth at 1,783, and Kristina Wendell fifth with 1,756.
