With the 2015 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships picking up steam, it’s totally expected to see new leaders emerging.
And that’s what happened on Monday as Mike Pelham fired 748 to take the singles lead, surpassing the 735 Ken Duffield rolled on Sunday, which I detailed here.
Pelham, a 36-year-old right-hander from Clinton, Iowa, had bowled the Open Championships only once — in 1997 in Huntsville, Alabama, USBC reported.
