When I received the lane pattern for this weekend’s Fusion Realtors Open at Maple Lanes in Waterloo, Iowa, I wrote in this blog that it looked very challenging and scores likely would be low.
And Saturday’s qualifying proved me correct, as the cut for the top 60 who advanced to Sunday’s semifinals in the 175-player field took under a 200 average: 1,397 for seven games.
