When new owners took over Maple Lanes in Waterloo, Iowa a couple of years ago, they worked diligently to improve scoring and make lane conditions more consistent at the center. Manager Andy Buelow said he and part-owner Rich Eighme “spent a lot of hours working with Kegel on the phone trying to figure out oil patterns.
