Dawayne R. “Doc” Tietz has been elected to the Madison Bowling Association Hall of Fame in the Veterans category, the MBA announced Wednesday in this release. Tietz, 84, long was one of the top competitors in the MBA’s top leagues and won two MBA titles: all-events in 1965 with 1,916 and team with 3,029 in 1969. Tietz’s series in that win was 643.
