In a move that should surprise no one, the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America announced Thursday that Frank DeSocio of Wichita, Kansas, has been named as its new executive director. Several industry insiders I have spoken to recently expected that DeSocio would get the position. He officially takes office July 1.
