Steve Johnson has resigned as chief executive officer of the Bowling Proprietors Association of America. The news was first reported early Wednesday afternoon in this blog, based on statements by multiple sources. A prominent proprietor left me a message late Wednesday morning, but I was unable to connect with that person as to the nature of that call.
