Even without qualifying pins carrying over, qualifying leaders Osku Palermaa of Finland and Daria Kovalova of Ukraine won the 2013 World Games singles gold medals Sunday at Cali Bowling Coliseum in Cali, Colombia, the United States Bowling Congress reported. In the two-game title matches, Palermaa defeated Norway's Mads Sandbaekken 537-441 and Kovalova edged Team USA's Kelly Kulick 428-425.
