The second annual Whop-Pin Tap Tournament at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes on May 18 grew from 16 teams to 26 and raised $2,556 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The top five teams in order were Jacquie Rhodes, Jerry Gill and Dave Sersch; Diane Dettinger, Kathy Wells and Barbara Dorn; Scott Starks, Wendy Beckman and Paul Beckman; Nick Wilcox, Deb Thompson and Dan Kirtz; and Tom McConnell, Jeff Thompson and Jeff Blicharz.
