Update: Joe Scarborough's 900 was on Sport compliant pattern but tourney wasn't Sport certified so USBC records it as 'Standard' score

The United States Bowling Congress will certify Joe Scarborough’s 900 series in the PBA50 Sun Bowl in The Villages tournament as a standard score, not a Sport Bowling score.
The only thing keeping Joe Scarborough's 900 series in the PBA50 Sun Bowl in The Villages tournament from being a Sport Bowling score is the tournament’s lack of Sport certification.
“The one thing I want everyone to understand is that that pattern that day was Sport compliant,” PBA Commissioner Tom Clark said in a phone interview Wednesday afternoon.
