It seemed inevitable at times during this week's Barbasol PBA Tournament of Champions: ageless living legend Pete Weber, arguably the greatest talent in bowling history, would be overtaken by 2-handers Jason Belmonte and Osku Palermaa.
Even forgetting the age difference, which had to take a toll over 48 games, the power difference would eventually prove to be too much even for Weber to overcome.
Or would it?
Since we both turned 50 last summer, I've seen more of Pete than I had in the past...
