Dan Viken reaches perfection, Teresa Cothrine fires 700 series

Dan Viken fired a perfect game and Teresa Cothrine slammed a 700 series to highlight Madison area bowling on Wednesday.
Viken's fourth career 300 came in a 789 series in the Bowl-A-Vard Lanes American Family Men's League.
Two other bowlers fell a shot shy of perfection: Kurt Opie with a 299 game in a 743 series in the same league and Matt Wynhoff with a 298 in a 758 in the Bowl-A-Vard Lake City League.
