For the roughly two decades that I bowled a full schedule of PBA Regionals, my focus was always on making the National Resident Pro Championship/National Regional Players Invitational team. I made the Midwest Region team in 1986 and 1987 and then every year from 1991 through about 2007 (I’m not exactly sure of the final year).
