The 2012 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships generated $113.2 million in local economic impact, The Advocate newspaper of Baton Rouge reported in this story Wednesday.
The paper said that “Baton Rouge-based SCI Research concluded that the 70,200 bowlers and their guests were responsible for $64.7 million in direct spending during the tournament.”
