In my first years as an adult bowler, one of my buddies, teammates and competitors was Marty Schroeder, who ran the pro shop at Schwoegler's (Park Towne) for a time and was one of the Madison area's top bowlers. His family lived in the Fox Cities and whenever we bowled up there, they opened their home to us.
