Minnesota-based team grabs second in Reno with 3,415

A team of solid, veteran bowlers from the upper Midwest on Thursday came within 24 pins of grabbing the team lead at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in Reno, Nev. Pepsi ONE, out of Rochester, Minn., totaled 3,415 on games of 1,103, 1,116 and 1,196. There now have been four 3,400s this year: the others are Brian Brazeau Pro Shop's 3,439, Cambridge 1's 3,410 and Janzs H I's 3,407....
