A team of solid, veteran bowlers from the upper Midwest on Thursday came within 24 pins of grabbing the team lead at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in Reno, Nev. Pepsi ONE, out of Rochester, Minn., totaled 3,415 on games of 1,103, 1,116 and 1,196.
