Steve "The Lane Dude" Stevens, a former PBA laneman, tipped me off to a scratch tournament that will be held in Sparks, Nev., April 9-10 and features a guaranteed first prize of $5,000. That's quite a distance from the Midwest, but some may already be in Reno for the USBC Open Championships and the tourney looks very attractive. If I was bowling the USBC about April 7-8, I'm sure I'd look in to sticking around to compete....
