The United States Bowling Congress Open Championships typically
is feast or famine for left-handers.
If the left side is playable on the fresh lane condition,
lefties can crush the tournament as they did in 2002 (when Stephen
Hardy won the all-events with a then record total) and 2006 (when
lefties dominated the top of the all-events leaderboard).
