Wow, that was a short celebration for John Bauerle. Just a day after Bauerle took the United State Bowling Congress Open Championships all-events lead with 2,225, Matt McNiel blasted 2,326 to not only crush Bauerle's score but also break what many — including me — thought was an unbreakable record: Ron Vokes' 2,321 all-events in Las Vegas last year.
