Who says airport slots never pay out?

It's a widely held belief that the slots at the airports in Las Vegas and Reno pay very poorly. That turned out to be a very happy falsehood for one bowler headed to the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in Reno. Shortly after exiting his flight to Reno on Sunday, John Johnson of Golden, Colo., put $20 into an airport slot machine, and minutes later, he was the winner of the $10,422,754....
