On a Sport lane condition that was every bit as harsh as the
weather, Dave Labinski won the Christmas Eve Scratch Classic at
Varsity Lanes in Milton.
The weather held the field to just 12 entries, but organizer
Todd Williams still paid five spots of $280, $150, $80, $70 and
$60. The entry fee was $60.
The format was modified to four games of qualifying before the
five-person stepladder finals.
