With diagnosis of Barnes' son, bowling joining fight against diabetes

Chris and Lynda have twin boys, Troy (far left) and Ryan (far right). In 2008, Troy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He must take multiple insulin injections daily and test his blood sugar at least six times a day. Insulin keeps Troy alive, but is not a cure.
Chris and Lynda Barnes have enjoyed an amazing amount of success
in bowling, from college to Team USA to the professional ranks.
And now they're trying to use some of that star power and talent
against their toughest foe yet: diabetes.
Troy Barnes, one of their twin 7-year-old sons, was diagnosed
with type 1 juvenile diabetes in May 2008. (Twin brother Ryan has
not been diagnosed with any diabetic...
