The USBC reported that on June 12, Kurt Scherr set an all-time Sport Bowling record with an 869 series at Classic Lanes Oak Creek. A few weeks later, he reportedly rolled a Sport 879 at the same center, as I blogged here. Now comes a post by highly respected pro shop operator Joey Cerar - the Bowlers Journal International columnist - that the scores will not be approved by USBC....
