USBC tourney reaches halfway point

The second biggest USBC Open Championshipstournament ever
reached the halfway point onSaturday.
The tournament began its record 154-day run on Feb.21 as the
first of more
than 86,000 bowlers took to the lanes atCashman Center in Las
Vegas.
The 17,200 teams scheduled to compete is just shyof the 17,285
in 1995, which was the first year of the NationalBowl...
