With a best finish of 16th in seven tournaments, the 2026 PBA Tour has not been what a superstar like Kyle Troup aims for. But Troup looks ready to break out after leading the first two rounds of the 2026 Surfside PBA New York Classic at ABC Gates Bowl in Rochester, N.Y. The 132-player field was split into two squads bowling 16 games of qualifying in 8-game rounds, one each on Tuesday and Wednesday.
