Coming into PWBA Tour Championship week at ABC Gates Bowl in Rochester, N.Y., Shannon Pluhowsky was outside the cutline to make the field after a season in which she had made just two stepladder finals and not bowled for a title.
Then she won the 2025 PWBA Pepsi Open on Saturday night to make the Tour Championship. And on Monday she earned the top seed for Tuesday’s stepladder finals of the Tour Championship, putting her in position to turn an off year into a stellar year.
