Parker Bohn III broke the USBC Senior Masters 10-game scoring record on Wednesday, putting himself on top after the second round of qualifying.
In many tournaments, Bohn would have a major leg up on ultimately bowling for the title, but he broke the record under the format where that matters the least — once the 64 players advance to match play qualifying scores cease to matter.
That means his third round of qualifying on Thursday will be different than it would in a regular format.
