Madison Area USBC posts dates, host centers for 2024-25 championships

The Madison Area USBC posted on its Facebook page the dates and host centers for its championships in the 2024-25 season.

The Senior Open Championships — aka the Senior City Tournament — will be Nov. 2-3, 9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 at Viking Lanes in Stoughton. Squads are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Online entry is available on the Senior City page. Sponsors are Phoenix Pro Shop, King Pin Management, Ten Pin Alley, and Dream Lanes.

The Women’s Championships — aka the Women’s City Tournament — will be Nov. 2-3, 9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 at Middleton Sport Bowl. Squads are 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Online entry is available on the Women’s City page. Sponsors are Lake Ripley Lanes, Coachz Pro Shop, King Pin Management, Dream Lanes, and Ten Pin Alley.

The Youth Championships — aka the Youth City Tournament — will be Dec. 7-8 and 14 at Dream Lanes with squads at 10 a.m. and, if necessary, 2 p.m. Entry is done through youth programs. Sponsors are Coachz Pro Shop, Dream Lanes, King Pin Management, and Ten Pin Alley.

The Masters and Queens will be Jan. 5 at 11 a.m. at Schwoegler’s Entertainment Center. Here is the announcement on the tournaments. Here are the details for Masters. And here are the details for the Queens. The lane pattern will be the Open Championships lane pattern, and I have a question into the Madison Area USBC asking what that is.

The Open Championships — aka the City Tournament — will be Jan. 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26, and Feb. 1-2 and 8-9 at Schwoegler’s. Squads are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. New for this year is a Division 3 for averages under 900/360/180, which should split the previous Division 2 roughly in half, making all handicapped divisions relatively equal in terms of participation numbers. Online entry is available on the City page. Sponsors are Rob Bailey’s Pro Shop and MOTIV, King Pin Management, Budweiser, Dream Lanes, and Ten Pin Alley.
