Jon Rakoski knocked off a pair of Hall of Famers in earning the top seed for Sunday’s stepladder finals of the 2024 USBC Senior Masters at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas.
Rakoski, a 52-year-old right-hander who won the 2023 PBA50 Monacelli Championship for his lone PBA50 Tour title, made the top 64 for match play out of the 312-player field in 53rd, then beat Kevin Croucher 696-655 and Clint Dacy 697-651 on Friday, and Brian Dennis 640-562, Hall of Famer Chris Barnes 728-713, Hall of Famer...
