The 20th New Mexico Open scheduled for Aug. 16-18 at Tenpins & More in Rio Rancho will offer a record estimated prize fund of more than $76,000, tournament operator Steve Mackie said in an email announcement. First prize also will be a record at $13,500, based on 192 entries, which is 19 less than the 211 last year. First prize was $13,000 last year and $12,000 in 2022.
