There are some significant changes in PBA rules for 2023, but nothing that should greatly surprise anyone. The 2023 rules are posted at PBA.com and attached to this story as a PDF. The most significant thing is that urethanes made before Aug. 1, 2022 are banned for the PBA Tour, which is not surprising considering that all balls produced starting Aug. 1, 2022 had to be re-approved by USBC to the new 73D hardness rule, a point higher than the long-time 72D rule, as I detailed in this...
