Top seed Chad Nelson defeated Russ Oviatt 231-202 in the title match on Sunday to win the 2022 GIBA Ebonite Fall Classic at Maple Lanes in Waterloo, Iowa. The match was close early before Oviatt left a 4-6-7 split and Nelson put together a string of strikes, GIBA administrator Joe Engelkes reported.
