On April 28, 2018, Lennie Boresch Jr. beat Norm Duke 198-192 with a 10th frame double to win the PBA50 National Championship for his fourth PBA50 Tour title and first major. A fifth title seemed like a foregone conclusion, and it nearly happened the next week when he finished second.
