On June 23, 2014, Artistic Expressions 1 stunned the bowling world with a 3,720 series in the team event at the USBC Open Championships at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno. In my story, I likened the 3,720 to Bob Beamon’s unfathomable long jump of 29 feet, 2 1/2 inches at the Olympics in Mexico City on Oct. 18, 1968.
