In Sunday’s first round of qualifying in the PBA50 Dave Small’s Championship Lanes Open, Tom Adcock switched to a 900 GLOBAL ZEN and closed with 278, 230 and 300 to finish the round in second at 1,627, 30 pins behind leader Parker Bohn III. Adcock told PBA he took advice from Storm rep and fellow PBA50 bowler Mitch Beasley on where to play, and watched what Norm Duke and Tim Mack were doing to manage the “tricky and definitely demanding” Mike Aulby 39 lane pattern....
