Before you can win a PBA Tour title, you have to get to the championship match. An obviously obvious statement, but one all too often forgotten after a win. Bill O’Neill’s win in the 2020 PBA Playoffs is a perfect example. The textbook right-hander rolled through Anthony Simonsen in the title match 235-203, 249-195 after cruising by Tom Smallwood 245-216 in the semifinals.
