Our minors Saturday at the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Open Championship was a day full of frustration that was very reminiscent of the 2017 Open Championships when our first six guys also bowled on lanes 31 and 32 at South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas. We had two light mixer 8-10s, several pocket 7-10s, and a nice selection of single-pin taps. Carry can always be an issue, especially with a group where the youngest player is 48, and the ball speeds and rev rates are declining, but...
