Coming into the 2019 PWBA Tour season, Liz Johnson could almost lurk in the background, so to speak. After being the PWBA Player of the Year in 2015, 2016 and 2017, Johnson had a solid but not dominating year in 2018 as Shannon O’Keefe earned Player of the Year honors. Perhaps the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Queens will mark her return to the top of the heap. The 2-time USBC Queens champion finished qualifying with a 3,447 total for 15 games (229.8 average) to lead by 73 pins...
