Rameses Chambers capped a strike-filled trip to Syracuse by firing a 771 on Sunday to take the lead in singles at the 2018 USBC Open Championships. Chambers, who before competing in the Open Championships rolled a perfect game in a 727 series at the Bowlers Journal Championships, chained games of 244, 279 and 248 at the Oncenter to pass the 744 of prior leader Joshua Volk, who competed in Saturday.
