As I explained in my preview of our 11thFrame.com group’s competition at the 2023 USBC Open Championships, this was the “geezer reunion” of our Eagle-winning team of Marc McDowell, Steve Richter, myself, Gail Myers Jr. and Mike Shady.
The last time we bowled as a team at the Open Championships was 2016, with USBC rule “enhancements” ending the run we began when we realigned our 10-man group in 2001.
