Patty Spires-Merkel and Jim Fosdick fired perfect games to highlight Madison area bowling on Wednesday. Spires-Merkel’s first career 300 came in a 642 in the Schwoegler’s Happy Hour League. It was the third 300 by a Madison area women this season; Brittany Pollentier and Lisa Kolosso had the others.
