As the scores kept building at the 2022 USBC Open Championships, there was one outlier: How could there be no 800s in singles? Scott Patke ended that question on Friday with a blistering 835 (279-278-278) that seems to give him a strong chance to win an Eagle. Jeff Nimke had been the singles leader with 796, as he sought his third Eagle.
