2021 Badger Queens set for Sunday, May 2 at Sabre Lanes in Menasha

The 2021 Badger Queens is scheduled for Sunday, May 2 at 9 a.m. at Sabre Lanes in Menasha.

The tournament flyer is attached to the bottom of this story and is here at the Wisconsin State USBC Association website.

The 29th annual Queens is for 170 and above average female bowlers who are USBC members.

The format will be six games of qualifying followed by a cut to the top 25 percent of the field with pins carrying over. There will be a 3-game semifinals with the top five then advancing to a stepladder finals. The entry fee is $80.

First will be $1,000 based on 70 entries.

The WWBA said that any bowler submitting $100 in sponsor money with her completed entry form will receive her entry free. The $100 can come from one sponsor or several. The entry fee will be paid out of sponsor money and remaining $20 will be added to the prize fund.

Katie Zwiefelhofer beat top seed Janis Birschbach 225-185 in the title match to win the 2019 Badger Queens.

Shannon Labinski beat Charly Boelter 235-188 in the title match to win the 2018 Badger Queens.
